The approach Volando-Flying takes is based on the principle that learning is increased when the elements of fun, imagination and emotional involvement exist. Throughout history people have learned naturally while singing songs, listening to stories and playing games.

The program expands this natural learning process by engaging students in a variety of coordinated activities that, by participation, adapts the material to fit each student's own learning style.

Communication is multi-faceted. Understanding and speaking a language is more than just learning new words and their meanings: it also involves recognizing such things as gestures, tone of voice, cultural references and much more. With this program students experience the language by listening, watching, playing games and participating in an exciting adventure story.
